Position Summary
General duty police work includes:
- Maintaining order
- Directing and controlling traffic
- Enforcing laws and ordinances
- Protecting life and property
- Issuing citations
- Making arrests
- Preparing reports
- Providing information to the public and departmental units
- Working with community members as a planner, organizer, problem solver, and information link
- Performing other related duties
Salary
The salary will be available based on education, military experience, and/or law enforcement experience.
